Praise Christian Center of Huntington Beach

is a Non-Denominational Christian Church. We believe the Bible is the Word of God. As a community of spirit filled believers we believe Jesus is the Son of God. That He died on the cross for the sins of the world and that He is coming again soon! We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit and that each believer has spiritual gifts that are for the benefit of the church and whole body of Christ. We have a contemporary worship style in our music but still embrace hymns and classic gospel.

We are a diverse congregation with a variety of ethnic backgrounds and ages. We look like heaven!

History

The church started in 1998 in a small community center in Huntington Beach. From there it moved into a storefront and grew into two storefronts. Then it moved on to an old warehouse on Goldenwest street. When city officials tried to stop the congregation from meeting at the Goldenwest location, The Church met under a tent for over 4 years.

It now shares the facility at it’s current location with the First United Methodist Church of Huntington Beach.
